Onboard power plant
A 342 cc two-stroke engine drives a 16 kW generator that powers the electric motors.
Hybrid
Hybrid drones carry their own power plant: a gasoline engine drives a generator that supplies the electric motors. Fuel can be topped up on site, which suits large areas and locations where charging big battery sets is impractical.

The Vertex X-PC2W is a gasoline-electric hybrid crop-protection drone. A 342 cc twin-cylinder engine drives a 16 kW generator, and the aircraft sprays 60 L or spreads 85 L per load at up to 32 L/min.
At an application rate of 60 L/ha it covers about 12 hectares per hour, with RTK positioning, radar obstacle avoidance and IP67-rated core modules. A 14 L fuel tank and average consumption of 12.5 L/h make time per tank easy to plan.

A 14 L tank of gasoline mixed with two-stroke oil, at an average of 12.5 L/h.
About 12 hectares per hour at 60 L/ha, with a 6–9 m swath at 7 m/s.
RTK positioning, autonomous flight, radar obstacle avoidance and IP67 core modules.

A twin-cylinder two-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection runs the generator.
The generator produces electrical power for the aircraft.
Electric motors turn the propellers for spraying or spreading.
